Although brief, this route satisfies even the most demanding cyclists. From Gualdicciolo until the highest point of the spur where the impregnable fortress of San Leo sits, is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. From here you can admire the view from one of the three balconies that overlook the landscapes which inspired the famous painter: Piero della Francesca. The first balcony in Varco Biforca-Tausano looks towards Tuscany with the second facing the sea and finally, the third overlooking the hills of San Lorenzo and Farneta.
